Panel is for illustrators, writers, animators, game designers, independent creators, and publishers looking for new ways to create comics—and for readers looking for new ways to experience them.
Create anything from traditional digital comics and scrolling stories to comics enhanced with motion, sound, reader actions, choices, and branching paths. These layers are optional—the comic stays at the center, and creators decide how far to expand it.
Yes. You can bring existing comics, artwork, scripts, and other assets into Panel without rebuilding everything from scratch. Continue with lettering, animation, sound, interaction, and publishing, while keeping the tools you already use as part of your workflow. Support for specific formats and direct integrations will expand over time.
Panel’s AI is not a separate image generator. Spatial and story intelligence works across the workflow—helping with structure, continuity, dialogue, composition, animation, interaction, publishing, and audience insight. It assists; the creator stays in control. Over time, creators should be able to use Panel’s agent or connect own intelligence.
Yes. You retain ownership of the work you bring into or create in Panel. You choose what remains private and what gets published.
