Vision
From a Comics Tool to a Connected Platform
Panel began as a tool for bringing digital comics to life through motion, sound and interaction.
As we continued developing it, a larger question emerged: what happens before and after that moment?
A comic does not begin with animation or end with an export. It moves from script and dialogue through drawing, lettering, motion and interaction to publishing—and eventually to its readers. Today, these parts of the process often remain scattered across different tools and platforms.
That is why Panel is evolving from a single tool into a connected platform for modern comics.
The Panel engine remains its creative core: a structure connecting panels, scenes, layers, timing and interaction. Around it, we are exploring a broader space where creators can develop their comics, publish them and build a relationship with their audience.
Panel is still in development. The exact starting point will be shaped by conversations with creators and by testing real workflows. Our goal is to connect the parts of comics creation that belong together.
From the first idea to the first reader.
